To eradicate spikes mine which is still a threat to motorists, Services, Supervision and Social Control (P3S) officer held patrol at Ancol area, North Jakarta, precisely at the intersection before Ancol entrance.

This operation was intended to minimize the victim of the spikes nail, we found the biggest number of the spikes mine at Kampung Pandan area towards Tanjung Priok Terminal

As a result of the patrol that involving six officers, a total of 2 kilograms nails measuring 5 to 10 centimeters were secured every week.

Heru expected the nail was spread at night when traffic conditions are relatively quiet. Moreover, there are many tire repairmen around the location.

According to him, spikes mine is not only makes a vehicle tire leak suddenly, but also can create accidents.
